My name is Eilish Blade and I have been working in the field of Complementary Therapies for over 20 years.
I began as a practitioner in Swedish and holistic massage, Neuro-Structural-Integration-Technique (NST) and Bowen Therapy. In 2003 I completed my Naturopathic diploma at The College of Natural Therapy. I studied Biomedicine at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and I am currently studying a MSc in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester and will finish my training in 2019. I am a registered student member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and a member of the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA).
Optimum health depends on a combination of diet, lifestyle, genetics and environmental factors. Diet can directly and indirectly affect genetic expression, metabolism, mood, energy, immunity, hormones, digestion and ability to be “stress resistant” in life. I use my training in Naturopathy and Nutrition to create treatment plans with the focus on “food first” to target nutritional deficiencies. Nutrient dense foods are both plant based and animal products and it is about sourcing quality products which fit with the clients dietary patterns, lifestyle, metabolism, digestive function and ethics.
